Today’s questions is:
Who do you know who can promote your workshop?
Who in your network has a large database of your ideal clients? Ask if they will promote your event as an affiliate. That means they will share your workshop with their subscribers, friends and followers, in return for a commission on every sale they make.
The easiest way to do that is to have an affiliate software that assigns your promotional partners their own referral link. When people click on the referral link, any sales that result from that link will be attributed to them. The software will keep track of the sales and the commissions that you owe them. I personally use Digital Access Pass to help me do this. Although it is a membership software, it has a good affiliate program and it also protects my content.
Be sure to make it super easy for your promotional partners to share you. Give them the tools they need to promote you. You can pre-write emails, Twitter and Facebook updates, newsletter blurbs with a referral link included. When you pre-write the promotional copy, you not only have more control over the message that gets sent out, but you also make it more likely that your partners will actually promote you.
