Fall is a very popular time for workshops and seminars.  If you have an event planned in September, October or November, chances are you are already busy with the preparations and marketing.  (If you aren’t, better get on it.  Or contact me to set up a consultation.)

With this in mind, here is a video of event planners sharing their top seminar planning tip.  Take a look and I will also share my top seminar planning tip after the video.

Daphne’s Top Seminar Planning Tip

Don’t assume anything.  Just because you arranged for something, doesn’t mean it will happen.  Confirm it in writing, get an acknowledgement via email and confirm it again the week and the day before the event.  Yes it is more work, but it is less work than freaking out the day of your event, because your vendor didn’t show, or brought the wrong items.
