Promote Your Workshop Or Seminar On YouTube

Using video is a great way to promote your workshop or seminar on YouTube. I found this video by Chris Hamilton at http://salestipaday.com and he gives a real quick overview of how you can turn your registration page into a video using Keynote or Powerpoint.

Powerpoint 10 has a video recording feature built in, but you can also use Camtasia or http://screencast-o-matic.com.

The more ways you can let your audience know about your event, the better, so be sure to promote your video on your blog, as well as on all the social media, like Twitter and Facebook.

Take a look at this video and let me know how you are using video to promote your events in the comments.

How much do I love this? LOTS!!!!

Daphne! Here’s why this is awesome and thanks for sharing! When we’re doing events, we often think of doing a video to talk about the event and build excitement. Well, sometimes my hair is not cooperating or it’s one of those weeks where I’m all “in” and I’m not putting on makeup or clothes…sorry TMI…and I digress…

Point being, if I’m doing a preview call or just a presentation about the event how cool is it to put it up on Youtube using this strategy? AWE-SOME!!!

I’ve got my next event coming up at the end of October and I’m using this!
Thank you!!!! You are the expert’s expert!

Completely understand your digression, Chris! It is the same for me. It is one of the advantages of working from home. And I hate to admit it, but I do not always look like my avatar. Too much work! 🙂

That is also why I love screencasting. I am learning the ins and outs of Camtasia right now and you’ll see a lot more videos coming out from me.

Can’t wait to see your video. Be sure to share it with us.
