Having a blog that consistently delivers valuable content to your prospective clients helps you stand out in a sea of competitors. When you use the right keywords or search terms in your titles and posts, you can rise to the top of Google and be found by the very people you want to serve.

Reach More Prospects

Education based marketing allows you to reach the prospects that don’t even know they need your solution. Let’s face it. Only a small percentage of your potential market is actively looking for the type of service you provide. Another small portion knows they have a problem and they are planning to find a solution in the future.

Anyone with a webcam or a Flip camera can make a video and put it on YouTube. If you have a special report you can put it on your website, or even better, turn it into a Kindle eBook and post it on Amazon.

No matter how your market likes to consume your content, it is easy and inexpensive to give it to them.

Position Your Sale

However, here is one caveat. No matter which form your education based marketing takes, it always should include this main component. It should position your unique product or service as the solution to their problem.

Use your content to generate leads and build your list. Create more content, give more value to your subscribers and then ask them to buy your solution. After all, if they are experiencing the problem you solve, you are doing them a service when you ask them to buy.
