How To Follow Up After An Event

3 Flares 3 Flares ×

As workshop and seminar leaders, attending events is a great way to connect with other people who love going to events.  These are not only potential attendees for your own event, but also potential partners that can speak at or that can promote your seminar.

Networking is one of the most important reasons that we attend events, but usually our follow up after meeting someone stinks.  Rob Schultz recently posted a great blog with a video networking tip about how to follow up after an event.

This little trick paid big dividends for him and I can see why.  It definitely makes you stand out from the crowd.

Check out the video and then try it for yourself.

  1. Great idea from Rob and thanks for sharing Daphne. It’s giving me a super idea on how to engage a few people I met at an event recently. I’ll give it a try and report the results.

      Thanks for visiting, Leesa.

I agree with you, I loved Rob’s video and his idea when I saw it, so I just had to share it.

Please let me know how it works out for you! Honestly, I know I should do more of this as well.
