With the World Cup in full swing, the NBA finals just completed and the Graeme McDowell’s fantastic performance in the US Open, we have had plenty of opportunity to watch the joy and the emotions that accompany great victories. I love that winning feeling and one of the reasons I love to watch sports is that it reminds me of the way I used to feel when I competed as a springboard diver. Although I also spend some time on the losing side of the equation, it was that winning feeling that kept me going.
It’s that feeling of utter elation and joy, combined with this huge burst of adrenaline that keeps athletes competing, sometimes past their expiration date. And while it is hard to duplicate, I found that planning (and executing) successful events is the only thing that comes close to providing that sensation and that shot of adrenaline.
That is why I create Winning Workshops for my clients. The nice part about Winning Workshops is that there are no losers. When you finish one, you are completely euphoric, exhausted, yet totally charged. Have you ever had that feeling that you can conquer the world? That is what it feels like when you end a Winning Workshop.
And talking about WIN/WIN situations, both clients and me experience that winning sensation.
Do love that winning feeling too? What is it that gives you that sensation of adrenaline and euphoria? Share it with me below. Oh and by the way, artificial measures don’t count…
