Ladies, did you know that next Tuesday is OUR day?
Yes, March 8th is International Women’s Day.
Not only that, it is the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day.
The Women’s Information Network has decided to celebrate this momentous occasion with the largest gathering of women in the history of the holiday.
So in 154 countries and 10 US cities there are full day events to celebrate and inspire women.
I am honored to be involved in the Atlanta event at the Cobb Galleria Centre and we have a line-up of speakers that will “Enlighten Women’s Minds and Empower Women’s Hearts … for a Better World.” There will be live musical entertainment, a powerful dramatic presentation called “We Did It For You” and much more!
Here is just a small sampling of what the Atlanta event has in store:
- Better hold on to your seats, because we will have Vernice “Flygirl” Armour, the first female African American combat pilot take us from 0 to Breakthrough.
- Emmy Award winner Aurea McGarry will tell us her story how against all odds, she did not just survive, but is a “surTHRIVER”.
- Make new friends and connections when Bonnie Ross-Parker, “America’s Connection Diva”, facilitates a networking activity.
- Laugh, laugh and laugh some more when Shelly Bloom explains that Laughter Really is Life’s Best Medicine
- So much more
