Bonus Internet Marketing Tool

Want to infuse some excitement in to your event?  Host a contest!

I am here at NAMS (Niche Affiliate Marketing System) learning all about internet marketing.  As you know, I am a big believer in internet marketing to market your workshops and seminars.

Here at NAMS there are complete beginners learning how to set up and make money with their first website and people who have made millions, all interacting and learning from each other.  Pretty awesome!

In my last article, I gave you 5 online marketing tools that every seminar leader (and really every business) MUST have.

Here at NAMS I learned about another one, internet marketing education.

You can find awesome education right here http://ht.ly/68fFU

Full disclosure: This is part of a contest I am participating in.

And that brings me to another seminar tip.  If you want your audience to actually implement what you teach, host a contest.

The contest I am in is about selling the Mynams membership site at an unbelievable deal, with coupon code mynams90.

The membership is valued at $97 per month, but with the coupon code you get 90% off.

And if you buy through my link and send me your receipt, I will give you access to the Winning Workshop Secrets Series, which is for sale on my website for $45.

Yes, you get the mynams membership for only $9.70 per month and you get the Winning Workshop Secrets series.

Get it here http://ht.ly/68fFU

Contest ends tomorrow afternoon, so be sure to sign up before 2pm on Sunday!

  1. Sounds like a good deal, Daphne. Hope you win. And a contest is a good idea for an event or even in your newsletter.

    • Daphne Bousquet, CMP says:

Contests are not only being used with great success at events, but blogs, Facebook pages and even in your newsletter as you suggest, Jeannette. Have you hosted a contest in your newsletter? What results did you have?

      • I’d love to hear more about hosting contests via newsletters, too, Daphne. Sounds like this might be a great blog post topic. 🙂

Congrats to Helen for winning the NAMS contest. She’s a sweetie. I wish they would have offered first, second, and third place prizes then more people would have had a better chance of winning something.

Wouldn’t it be fun if our whole TLC group attended the next NAMS together? I think it’s in January. 🙂

        • Daphne Bousquet, CMP says:

It would be awesome to have our group meet at NAMS7. I’ll volunteer as airport shuttle! I believe the event is scheduled for February 10-12, 2012. If you sign up for the MyNAMS membership site at $9.70 per month, you can actually get your ticket to the event for only $97. It’s a bargain!

          • This sounds like a heck of a good deal, Daphne. And thanks for offering to be the airport shuttle!

Lots of my dearest online friends are talking about attending the next NAMS. Would love to meet up with everyone there and have a blast! I’m sure there would be a whole lot of non-stop talking and big bear hugs, too. 🙂

Say a prayer. If I’m able to find a decent-paying full time job by the end of September, I’ll be in a position to sock away some funds to cover the trip. Otherwise, I’ll have to stay behind and continue my search for work. I have faith! I’ve been pounding the pavement for the past two+ years and coming up empty-handed. But I’m a gal who will never stop believing in angels and miracles. 🙂

For all of us to meet in person at NAMS would be a dream!

          • Daphne Bousquet, CMP says:

I will definitely keep my fingers crossed that you can find a way to come to NAMS. It would be so fun. And you would learn so much in how to make a full time income from the internet that you wouldn’t even need a job:-). Although it does take time… But being around people like Nicole Dean, Connie Ragen Green, Susanne Meyers, Lynn Terry and the others really inspire me.

  2. This program sounds like it will benefit those up-coming entrepreneurs and those jumping in to learn how to create a profitable business. I like the contest idea and wish you much success.

    • Daphne Bousquet, CMP says:

Actually, Lynn, what I like about the membership site (and NAMS) is how it crosses over for beginning and advanced online entrepreneurs. It allows you to connect to new affiliates and get great education as well.

  3. I’m with Jeannette and Lynn on this one, Daphne …

Rooting for YOU to be the winner of this contest! 🙂

Prior to reading your post, I’ve received at least a dozen notices regarding this membership deal. NAMS must be offering one heck of a wonderful prize for winning! Everybody and their uncle has made me this same offer. LOL!

Hope you’re having an absolute blast at the event and we’ll be expecting to hear all the scoop when you get back!

    Melanie

    • Daphne Bousquet, CMP says:

Thanks, Melanie. I didn’t win and yes the prizes were fabulous. Check out my next blog post for the latest and who won. OK, I’ll let the cat out of the bag… It was Helen Raptoplous (Helen Rappy). She did a great job and deserves all the accolades, product, coaching and mentoring she is getting!

  4. Chris says:

Go Daphne! I know that these contests are an awesome strategy to get more people to make a decision to move towards what they truly desire in the life and business. And sometimes a great offer comes along, (like this!) to get them motivated and inspired!

I know that you’re not only learning tons of cool tools and strategies but DEEPLY observing the content and context of the event so that you can help more of us plan successful seminars and workshops!

Thank you for sharing this event and your fun with us!

    • Daphne Bousquet, CMP says:

You know me so well, Chris! Yes, I have learned a lot and I will be sharing my experiences in the next posts, even as I am implementing what I’ve learned. By the way, I expect you to be at the next NAMS. You would love it!
