Helen Rappy and David Perdew at NAMS

Helen was standing in the front of the room facing all the instructors and speakers.  “Come on,” encouraged David, “Ask them what they have for you.” Completely overwhelmed, she finally croaked, “Trick or treat!”

As the whole room laughed, Helen received thousands of dollars in products, coaching and mentoring from the speakers at NAMS (Niche Affiliate Marketing System) on top of the computer David Perdew had already given her.

Wow!  Not bad for a weekend’s work.  Helen Raptoplous had won the NAMS contest, selling the most MyNAMS memberships.

Contests Encourage Implementation

The purpose of the contest was not only to sell as many memberships as possible, but also to implement the teachings from the weekend.  How can you be creative in selling an affiliate program?

NAMS offered many great ways to move your internet business forward, whether you are just starting online as a complement to your offline business or whether the internet is your sole focus for making money.

Your audience learns best while they are actually doing what you teach.  By hosting a contest, you encourage them to put into action what they’ve learned.  You create excitement among your attendees, because who doesn’t want to win a contest and great prizes?

Win/Win

You also create better results for your audience and by extension for you.  Better results for your attendees become better testimonials, which ultimately turn into more clients. Now that’s a win/win if I ever saw one.

What action do you want them to take?

So think of how you can incorporate contests into your seminars and workshops.  What action do you want them to take? What can you give away?  Think about your own products and services and also that of your sponsorship partners.  The speakers all presented Helen with their own information products and coaching services.  Pretty awesome!

David Perdew also presented Helen with a free ticket to NAMS for life.  NAMS is held twice a year (in January and in August) and costs $497.  Wouldn’t you say that is a very generous gift? Yet it doesn’t cost David anything out of pocket and he gets an incredible amount of goodwill and PR out of it.  (I am sure I am not the only one writing about it!)

NAMS was an incredible experience, not only for the education but also for the people I met.  NAMS is unique in that it offers 4 tracks of education, based on where you are in your business.  The NAMS100 track is perfect if you don’t have a website yet, while NAMS400 has education for people who are already making great money online.

Great Instructors

The quality of the instructors and the access to them is really unparalleled. You can learn in class from an instructor 1 minute, and have lunch with them the next. Seriously, I had lunch with the amazing Kathleen Gage and the fabulous Ellen Britt. Quite a treat!

Right now the MyNAMS membership is available at 90% off with coupon code MYNAMS90.  That means you get incredible internet marketing education at only $9.70 per month, and an event ticket at an 80% discount.

By the way, I just showed you another way to get butts in the seats…

  1. Woohoo!! This is super cool of you Daphne!! You just helped me relive an amazing experience all over again! And in print I have something to share with my friends and family! Thank you so much for this!!

David Perdew went from a man I didn’t know to a man I will never ever forget! He put on one heck of a program show and I am excited to tell everyone I know about him and what NAMS is all about! He certainly knows how to put butts in seats, and the number one way is to share great value that so exceeds expectations that positive words, energy and vibes go viral (far, wide & deep!!)!

I loved best that I got to relive going to college! That was one of the most educational events I have been to in a long time! The people it attracted far exceeded my expectations and the support and encouragement from everyone was just outstanding!

I had 2 events back to back and only just returned home! I have a lot on my mind and my windfall is still a bit blurry! Not sure what all I received, but ready to put them in a logical order and start taking action. After all, if implementation and action is what I teach, than I better step up and be an example of it! Right? Yes, I d indeed have my work cut out for me!

Thank you Daphne for being a great example of thoughtful kindness and creative (powerful) writing!!

    xoxo

Congrats again, Helen. I know that you have your work cut out for you. Not only do you have to implement what you learned at NAMS, but now you get to learn even more. Nice problem to have! Meanwhile, I am slowly but surely making my way through Instant Video Mastery. Should have videos up soon!
