A Great Workshop Marketing Strategy

I love workshops and seminarsIn addition to nice weather (at least here in the Atlanta area), fall brings lots of events.  When you are considering hosting your own workshops and seminars, it is important to see what others are doing.  This way you learn from the content and the context.

One person who drives the content and the context home for me is Nancy Marmolejo.  Last June she held her first event, I Heart My Biz and I wrote about how she used Twitter to create buzz for her event.

For her upcoming event she has created a series of “webisodes”, called I Heart My Biz Love Notes.  It essentially is a series of videos that are designed to help you find your “Sweet Spot”, so that you can make more money doing what you love and get more visibility in the process.

It is good content, and I highly recommend watching the love notes. And when you are there, learn from the context, and also see how she is using these webisodes to market her event.

Nancy is a prime example of how education based marketing works.  It’s good stuff so check it out at http://ht.ly/2WpoH

How are you using education based marketing to fill seats to your workshops?
