12 Ways A Winning Workshop Grows Your Business

In last week’s article, I talked about what a Winning Workshop does for your audience.  This week, we’ll examine what a Winning Workshop does for your business and you. After all, although you may love to teach and be in front of an audience, if it doesn’t move your business forward in a tangible way, it shouldn’t be part of your marketing mix.

When you structure your workshop the right way, your audience will want even more of the great strategies, tools and nuggets of wisdom you shared with them.  Be sure you give them the opportunity to sign up right there for your products, services or programs.

No matter at what point your workshop is positioned in your marketing funnel, use it to move your participants down to the higher level. If you use your workshop as a low cost or free entry point, have your higher level programs available for purchase. If your event is a more expensive ticket item, offer a high level mastermind with lots of access to you.

Always record your workshops to repurpose it as an information product.  Use the audio or transcript as a lead generator on your website, or package it as a DVD or CD course complete with workbook for a complete home study course.  Make your workshop do double duty.
